Richard Edwards, the man who had double hand transplant surgery two weeks ago, was taken back to surgery to remove clots that had formed in the right hand.
Doctors at Jewish Hospital Hand Care Center said today that the surgery was successful. Edwards is making amazing progress with his transplants, moving fingers and making fists, something that previous hand transplant patients were only able to do at 6 months post op.
