My Life After a Hysterectomy
Hello everyone: I just had a total hysterectomy in March, It was done robotic, which I feel was/is the best way to any surgery if it can be done that way. I feel great, everything went great, got good news about my cancer. Yes so far it has only been 9 weeks. I do have a question for anyone who has had a total hysterectomy, did any one ever have spotting for more than the recommend time length. I did see my doc. they said it was (grandules) or could be a hiatoma, has anyone every had them or can anyone tell me how we get them. What or who do they form. Really need some advice. Doc said grandules are normal after sur
I Wish I Had Known...
Yes if the doctors would have found out that I had uterine cancer earlier I would definity had had this done sooner, I would not have suffered for all years of having a period for 18-22 days a month. Yes when we go for a pap smear it should be taken from different places not from the same place every year.
Advice
- I really can not give any advice right now only having a hysterectomy 9 weeks ago. But if you doctor is saying you need it, get it done, just know what it involves as far as before, after surgery. I had it done robotic recovery was very fast for me. I was on my feet in less than week.
