Why I Want To Be a Doctor

I first got really interested in the daily show "Greys Anatomy," and I loved the show so much that i started getting interested in being a doctor or a surgeon and maybe trying to be chief resident. I would love to own my own clinic or work in an OR, or a surgery room.

Here's What I'm Doing

Going to college for 12 years after high school training periods for about 4 years or more, family practices, 4 years of medical school followed by 3 years of residency. and then during my Bachelors degree portion, I will need to take a year of Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Biology and, Physics. Microbiology and Biochemistry. I will have a GPA of 3.3 or higher. After completing my required classes I'm going to take the MCAT (the entrance exam for Medical School. I will also have to be very mature for Medical School. After I am accepted to Medical School, I have to take 4 years of education, including Gross Anatomy (the study of cadavers), normal and abnormal physioogy and pharmacology, and hands-on learning that takes place in clinics, hospitals and various rotations throughout different specialties of medicine..... Im only 14:)..
